The manga series Demon Slayer is a popular Japanese action-adventure manga written by Hiroshi Takashige. In the series, the protagonist, Sadao Maou, battles various demons with his demon hunting partner Alibaba.

The demon slayer extended ending manga is a popular manga that has been published by Shueisha. The manga was originally released in Japan on October 10, 2000 and it ended on November 8, 2000.

The Demon Slayer Manga came to a close with Muzan’s death and the Demon Slayer Corps’ victory. Their triumph was monumental, since it marked the end of the Demons’ rule and the abolition of the Demon race for good. Keep in mind that Muzan is the progenitor of all Demons in the series, thus stopping him would put an end to Demon production for good.

The Demon Slayer manga concluded in such a manner that we found ourselves in a climax inside a climax for the first time. The original climax was, of course, Muzan’s defeat when he was hit by sunlight, since he was much too powerful to be defeated by the whole Demon Slayer Corps in the first place. It reached a peak when Muzan was vanquished and Tanjiro was transformed into a monster.

There’s also the manga’s Extended Finale, which, while being set in modern-day Japan, is crucial for readers to read. In order to learn more about the whole conclusion of Demon Slayer, I decided to jot down all of the specifics of the last fight. You’ll also grasp the significance of the series’ prolonged conclusion, as well as why the author chose to include it.

Is The Demon Slayer Manga Coming To An End?

The final chapter 205 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba will be published on May 18, 2020. Take note that chapter 205 is referred to by fans as the “extended finale,” since the last chapter’s narrative is not about Tanjiro, but about someone else who is connected to him. This is something I’ll discuss more about once we get to the special epilogue chapter.

So, if you’re wondering what happens next in Tanjiro’s tale, you’ll have to go back to chapter 204 of the manga series. On May 11, 2020, Chapter 204, titled A World Without Demons, was published. This is the chapter that takes place three months after Muzan Kibutsuji’s loss. The world has been purged of demons, as the title suggests. This represents the tranquility that they all deserve after successfully accomplishing their goal to put a stop to the Demons’ reign of terror.

What Happened When The Demon Slayer Manga Ended?

It’s easiest to describe the manga’s ending by recounting what occurred first, when they beat Muzan, before moving on to the prolonged conclusion. Because of Muzan’s overwhelming strength, everyone battling him at the moment was on the brink of giving up. Demons, on the other hand, have one major weakness: sunlight. The whole Corps is just buying time by battling Muzan till the Sun Rises, and it was well past time for the sun to rise, particularly since several friends had already perished.

This caused the strong Muzan to dissolve, giving everyone a sense of relief, and some of them even sobbed as the most terrible experience was finally done, and the demons were no longer there. They finally relax now that there are no more opponents in sight. Some Demon Slayers assisted the wounded, while others remarked on their last fight, while some still couldn’t believe they’d actually won, and so on.

When Giyu checks on Tanjiro, however, he is unresponsive. While kneeling and clutching his sword, Tanjiro has stopped breathing! This sent everyone into a frenzy, fearing that their buddy had already died, which turned out to be true. After all, he’s tired and his severed arm is bleeding profusely after the hard battle with Muzan.

The focus then shifts to Muzan’s previous existence as a human. This is when we all learned that the Demon curse is more than simply a supernatural event; it’s also a virus spread through Muzan experiments. Muzan is also aware that death has always been close to him, even when he was a human, and then the scene shifts to Muzan’s awareness being within Tanjiro as he gives him all of his demon blood.

Tanjiro awoke from his death as a consequence, but no longer as a human. When they learned that Tanjiro had woken, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. They did observe, however, that Tanjiro’s arm regenerated, causing them to flee Tanjiro as they understood their buddy had transformed into a monster. The terrified Demon Slayers are now perplexed as to why Tanjiro is acting oddly and reveling in his new form with unbridled glee.

Despite being exhausted after fighting the previous Demon King, they had no option but to prepare for another battle at this point. They persuaded Tanjiro to return to his human form while fighting him. Nezuko ran to her brother and held him so tightly as Tanjiro continued to release his spine whips and demonstrate his powerful form.

This sparked Tanjiro’s internal battle to free himself from Muzan’s grip. They were able to eventually get rid of the Muzan within Tanjiro and return him to being a human due to the strength of brotherly love combined with a little kindness from his pals. The Demon race has been extinguished now that they have reached peace, and Tanjiro, his sister, and their companions may live in peace.

Fans will be moved by the closing moments, which are so calm since Tanjiro and Nezuko have finally accomplished their objective and have defeated all evil for good. And, as the other tale concludes, Tanjiro and his sister lived happily ever after at the Kamado home with their friends. After that, the last panel of Chapter 204 depicts a modern-day metropolis, which begins a new narrative.

This is where the longer conclusion, Chapter 205, comes in. This chapter’s chronology may have happened hundreds of years after Tanjiro’s timeline. This chapter, on the other hand, depicts the modern-day Kamado family, one of whom bears a remarkable likeness to Tanjiro. It also included Zenitsu’s, Nezuko’s, Inosuke’s, and even Murata’s descendants. They all seem to be as close as their forefathers, indicating a strong family history.

Tanjiro’s Nichirin Blade, Kyojuro’s flame-shaped hilt, and an old picture of Tanjiro and everyone who survived the last fight, as well as Tanjiro’s hanafuda earrings, brought the story to a close.

At the end of the Demon Slayer manga, who dies?

1631968998_996_Demon-Slayer-Manga-Ending-Explained-Including-The-Extended-Finale

Unlike other Shonen manga, the Demon Slayer has a lot of fatalities in it. However, we will not go through the fatalities of individuals who died before to the last fight since it would be a very lengthy list to keep track of. Despite this, and as a result of Muzan’s enormous strength, the following people (both Tanjiro’s friends and opponents) were slain in the final battle:

  • Akaza
  • Gyokko
  • Daki
  • Gyutaro
  • Hantengu
  • Nakime
  • Kokushibo
  • Tamayo
  • Kaigaku

Apart from them, there were lower-class demon slayers who made spectacular sacrifices to aid Tanjiro and the others in distracting Muzan. Tanjiro perished as well, as Muzan disintegrated from the sunshine that everyone had been waiting for. He was only resurrected because of the demon blood. However, if it hadn’t been for it, Tanjiro would have ended up on a grave instead.

Explaining the Demon Slayer Manga

Demon Slayer tells the tale of Tanjiro’s journey to become one of the Demon Slayers, who will aid to exorcise the Demons once and for all. The story’s conclusion also demonstrates that complete peace can only be achieved by destroying Muzan, the wellspring of all demon power. However, that triumph is accompanied with the sense that it was almost difficult to accomplish. It also shows that with persistence and a strong desire for a brighter future, any obstacle that seemed to be insurmountable may be overcome in due time.

Another interpretation for this tale is that they planned how to defeat Muzan for good and so ended the demon’s curse, which seems to be a virus mixed with magic. It’s worth noting that demons are produced using Muzan’s blood, which is the sole source of such power. After all, Muzan’s metamorphosis into a demon was the consequence of a botched attempt to keep him alive, which backfired and resulted in Muzan becoming an all-powerful demon.

Explained: Demon Slayer’s Extended Finale Manga

The manga’s conclusion just demonstrates how close the Demon Slayers got to one another that even their families became involved. It also depicts how calm the earth has become because all Demons have been exterminated, allowing future generations to live regular lives similar to our own.

The extended finale’s symbolism also demonstrates that without Demons lurking around the world of Kimetsu No Yaiba, people will be able to finally focus on prospering and modernizing their world, allowing them to live normal lives without the need to struggle and become a fighter who will die at a young age. This was emphasized for me by the fact that this chapter seemed to be a slice-of-life manga, demonstrating that their lives would never be jeopardized, as was the case with Tanjiro’s family at the start of the series.

The demon slayer manga volumes is a manga that was written by Kentaro Yabuki. On November 22, 2016, the final chapter of the manga was released.
