In the animated realm, Halloween is a great time to enjoy a spooky slice of horror with a healthy dose of humor, horror and fantasy all wrapped up in a nice neat candy-colored bow. The horror genre can easily evoke fear, but horror anime can show a different kind of horror, a horror that is more cerebral and less visceral. It can also show a horror that is a little more human in the way it portrays the human mind in a disturbed state.
You know what’s better than watching horror or anime films? Watching it with friends, especially if you’ve never seen said films before. This Halloween, here are 25 anime films you can watch with friends, and enjoy along with a (not scary) Halloween theme.
Halloween is coming. The time of year when everyone with a brain wants to be wearing a costume.
